Fun Friends provides social groups, activities, workshops and days out for young people and young adults aged 7-25, with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, DLD, anxiety, speech & language and learning difficulties.
Fun Friends groups are based in Sidcup, Wilmington, Dartford and Swanley. We give children and young adults with additional needs a place where they can relax, feel understood and enjoy time with others. Our groups focus on friendship, confidence and simple moments of joy in a safe, supportive setting led by people who care. While the young people take part in activities and build real connections, parents and carers get a little breathing space of their own. Whether your child is in mainstream school, special education or home educated, they’ll be welcomed as they are. We are part of Kent County Council SEND directory and Bexley Local Offer.
Fun Friends sessions include games, crafts, cooking and sensory play in a warm, relaxed setting. Young people build confidence, make friends and enjoy simple moments of joy! Every activity is adapted so everyone can join in and feel part of the group.
Our workshops give young people space to learn new skills in a calm, supportive environment. From animals to music, to themed creative sessions, each workshop encourages independence, confidence and teamwork, while keeping things fun, hands‑on and accessible for all.
Our days out offer fun adventures like bowling, soft play, trampolining, crazy golf, parks and much more! Young people explore new places with their friends and trusted staff and volunteers, making forever memories. Each outing is planned with care, so everyone feels safe, included and excited!
Fun Friends offers birthday parties exclusive to Fun Friends young people and supports with planning and organising from start to finish, to make Birthday celebrations extra special and as stress free as possible for parents/carers.

“Fun Friends has been brilliant for my nephew. He settled in quickly and talks about the staff and activities with real excitement. It’s the first club where he feels understood and relaxed. Knowing he’s happy and safe gives our family a bit of breathing space. It’s become a highlight of his week.”

“I like Fun Friends because I feel welcome and not judged. I’ve made friends who understand me and I enjoy the games, cooking and days out. The staff are kind and help me try new things. I feel more confident now and look forward to going every week.”
